Sutter County Library Adult Literacy Program provides adult literacy services to our communities through one-on-one and small group literacy tutoring, English language learning, Citizenship Preparation classes and family literacy events.
Sutter County Library Adult Literacy Program provides support to:
- Improve reading or math skills
- Learn English as a Second Language (ESL – Reading, Writing, Speaking)
- Prepare to take the USCIS Citizenship Interview
- Prepare to take the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET)
- Learn or upgrade basic computer skills
The tutoring program is open to Sutter County residents 18 and older, or 16 and older and not still enrolled in high school. No ID is required. Start anytime, whenever you’re ready. The program is completely free.
